The Toy Library operates from February until the beginning of December, when all toys are required back at the Toy Library for stocktaking, repairs and maintenance.
During the summer - you can hire toys for $10 per toy for 6 weeks.
ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
Memberships not renewed within 3 months of due date will be deemed as resigned. You will receive an email notifying your renewal date. If you renew outside of opening hours, please send proof of payment to our email.
If you wish to terminate your membership early any refunds of subscription fees are at the discretion of the Toy Library Committee.
HIRAGE LIMIT
Standard membership: Toys are limited to 3 toys as a new member. The more you come, the hirer your limit rises. The max amount of toys is 20.
Inclusive membership: No more than 4 toys can be hired at a time.
Toys can be reserved if a toy is not in the Library when you come in, please use your login to reserve the toys you'd like, or speak with the librarian.
CARE OF TOYS
Please check that all toys and puzzles are complete when you get them home. It is your responsibility to report to the Librarian any missing pieces or damage that you find. If missing pieces or damage are not reported you will be asked to pay the fines incurred.
Please ensure that all toys are in good order, complete and in CLEAN condition. Some Toys are quite expensive so we ask that you encourage your little people to handle the toys with care and respect. It can be a good idea to restrict toys to a specific area to minimise damage and lost pieces. If toys need batteries and there are either none in the toy or they are flat, it is the responsibility of the member to buy or use their own.
DAMAGED TOYS OR LOST PIECES
Some minor damages can be mended. For more serious breakages, members will be required to pay a fee towards the replacement of the toy.
Unfortunately, there are times when no matter how careful you are, children may lose pieces of a toy. We understand that you might not have found the piece by your toy's return date. We ask that when it is found, please return the piece as soon as possible. A fine will be carried out for missing pieces from our new toys. If you return the piece, you will receive a refund.
OVERDUE TOYS
Toys not returned by the due date will incur a fine determined by the Librarian based on the days overdue. If you're sick or away for your due date - contact the librarian to renew your toys, or renew them through your login.
HELMET WAIVER
Please be advised that your child(ren) need to wear an approved helmet while using the toy library bicycles and scooters. The use of bicycles/scooters are subject to all Hamilton City Council and NZTA traffic regulations.

Please be respectful of our librarian, fellow members, church staff and other visitors of the church. Hostile or aggressive persons will be asked to leave.
Please do not block the shared driveway and be aware of children.
